I believe you know how hard it is to search for performance.
It is not making a phone call n arrange the time. Ta-Da, the end.
First you have to BRAINSTORM. (i finally know why it's being called brainstorm, cuz u have to squeeze ur brain for idea until it's lk hving a storm in ur head) The way to bring the storm including attending endless discussion, surfing online lk mad n asking around ppl u know or dun even know.
Once u find a performance (if u'r lucky enough), you have to find ways to contact the performer. Not all performer has a FB acc n u can easily access all the info.
And after searching so hard you get the contact, you have to call/email/msg/chat with the performer. then you can start worry thgs lk whether he receive the email/msg, whether he read it, whether he understood the msg, whether he interested, whether he care to reply.
Then when you finally get the reply (thank god), n you're lucky the performer agree to perform. you have to think skin enough to ask whether they can perform it for free. yet, u have to make sure they have high quality performance.
After that you happily tell other committee you successfully get a free performance for the event. guess what? you wont hear any 'thank you' or 'good job'. what u heard is 'i think all these performances are boring'.
And if you're so unlucky like me, they wont tell you what's wrong. they wont tell you which performance is BORING. you have to beat around the bush n BRAINSTORM again to rearrange everythg. n start all over again. they wan me to learn. ya thx.
seriously i dunno wat's the meaning of 'giving help but not telling them where exactly is the error'. i fucking dunno what i did wrong. what should be changed, what is the so call 'error'. i believe many of you went through this too. perhaps while not telling me wat's wrong, i hope u dun mind telling me how you cope with all this * last time.
